The Ford PCM gas motors were removed and replaced with a pair of Yanmar 4LHA-STP's obtained from salvage. The engines were completely disassembled and all internals, except the cams, cranks and connecting rods were discarded and preplaced, as were most of the external parts and accessories. These completely remanufactured 4LHA-STP 240HP fully mechanical marine diesels. They do not require any electrical supply to run, making them the ideal choice for running to the canyons.
